  • Sunday: 12 noon–10:30pm
  • Monday: 6pm–11pm

Food service times

  • Lunch: Tuesday–Saturday 12 noon–2pm • Sunday 12 noon-4.30pm
  • Dinner: Tuesday–Saturday 6pm–8.30pm


  • We open Bank Holiday Mondays and open at 6pm the following Tuesday for drinks only.

We take reservations by phone during opening hours: 01661 843 607. We are very sorry but we do not take reservations by answer machine or email.

What’s on

Dine With Bordeaux September 16th

In association with Carruthers and Kent and back by popular demand, the Dine with Bordeaux is returning. The Dine with Bordeaux dinner series was launched by the Bordeaux Wine Council to showcase Bordeaux wines with food, and to highlight why Bordeaux is the wine that goes best with food. At these dinners you always have at least four Bordeaux wines to taste.

Game Master Classes

Learn to pluck, truss, butcher and dress different game birds at our Game Masterclasses. Available upon request from October to February, classes are for 8–16 people and cost £150 for a three-hour class with a three-course game feast, matching wines and a sloe gin cocktail on arrival.

British Food Fortnight

Saturday 20th September – Sunday 5th October

We’ll be celebrating with a menu filled with dishes showing off the very Best of British!

Christmas Party Season

We don’t have a Christmas menu, although everything, as always, is local and seasonal. We can cater for small parties of up to ten people in a private dining room. Let us know what your requirements are and we will sort everything.
